三菱重工業、オンボードAI物体検知機「AIRIS」による船舶検知の軌道上実証に成功

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries successfully conducts in-orbit demonstration of ship detection using its on-board AI object detection system ‘AIRIS’

三菱重工業は、軌道上衛星に搭載したオンボードAI物体検知機「AIRIS」による船舶検知の実証に成功したことを明らかにしました。AIRISは昨年12月に打ち上げられた、JAXAの革新的衛星技術実証プログラムの小型実証4号機(RAISE-4)に搭載されているものです。
